Roy Teeluck teams up with Dress for Success to give women a fresh outlook and help get them back to work
Roy Teeluck, renowned hair stylist and CEO of his eponymous salon in New York City, has teamed up with Dress for Success Worldwide to provide valuable salon services for their clients who are actively engaged in re-entering the workplace. With the challenging unemployment climate and the special needs of underserved women, the idea of providing grooming services as a way to boost a woman’s confidence seemed a natural progression given Roy’s beauty expertise. A colleague introduced Roy to Dress for Success, and a hair partnership quickly began to develop. Roy agreed to spearhead an initiative with the support of L’Oréal Professionnel. The program will provide complimentary services to women that are actively pursuing work through the widely respected organization.
“When women look good from head to toe, they are more confident. So whether they are going on a job interview or interacting with people in their daily life, it makes a big difference,” says Roy. The program launched nationally on CBS Sunday Morning, featuring Roy being interviewed alongside Sigourney Weaver discussing this initiative.
